Tyler Hamilton Interview
Open-ended question-- "What was the conversation like when you reached out to him?"
Closed-ended question--" You saw Lance Armstrong inject EPO?"
"Did Lance Armstrong have a secret phone?"
A follow-up question--" You didn't see them take his blood weeks before, but you saw the transfusion going back into his blood during the Tour de France race?"

Types of Questions
An open-ended question- A question that forces the interviewee to answer with more than a yes-no or one-word answer.
A close-ended question- A question that allows the interviewee to answer with a yes-no or one-word answer.
A follow-up question- A question that originates from listening to something the interviewee says.

Interviews: Preparing Questions and Listening
1. To avoid one word answers ask more questions, use the word "why" alot.
2. The questions all interviews have in common are, "What is it like to be you?".
3. A problem with sticking to a lists of questions in an interview is that the interviewer askes questions and doesn't listen to the answer.
4. The interviewer who asks his own questions and doesn't go with what the interviewee says, it won't make sense.
5. If you talk more than ten percent of the time in an interview, you've been talking too much. The result would be is the interview would be about the reporter and not about the interviewee.
6. The interviewee would give you deep thoughts if you don't ask too many questions and just listen to the answer.
7. The more interesting thing in an interview to watch is the interviewee's body language and behavior.
